That’s what a new study published by the British Medical Journal states.  The authors performed an analysis of over 1400 studies concerning the drug.

They concluded that “Because of the moderate effectiveness of neuraminidase inhibitors, we believe they should not be used in routine control of seasonal influenza.”  (it should be noted that in drug research terms “moderate effectiveness” is not strong enough to warrant clinical use of a drug.)  They also question the reliability of much of the research (specifically that performed by the drug manufacturer).

Why is this coming out now?  Well, as the editor of the BMJ states in the following video, the drug companies control the flow of data about their drugs.  The good research that validates their claims comes out and that which doesn’t is buried.  These researches actually had to become detectives in order to get to the truth.

What does this say about the so-called “swine flu pandemic.”  Well, if we take the CDC numbers (which may be high due to the fact that most cases attributed to swine flu are not confirmed, they are based solely on symptoms – and we know that only about 20% of flu like symptoms are actually caused by the flu) we see that we are not anywhere close to the number of cases predicted by the medical establishment when the hype began.  We still don’t know if the vaccine even works (if it is similar to seasonal flu than it doesn’t), or if it is safe.  And know we know that Tamiflu doesn’t work as well.

What do we know?  We know that the best way to avoid the flu is to have a strong immune system.  We know that natural, safe ways to improve your immune system include:  good diet, exercise, chiropractic adjustments, Vitamin D3, fish oil, and pro-biotics.  We know that getting flu vaccines will actually hurt your immune system’s ability to fight off infection.  And we know that drug companies are making record profits off the sale of flu and swine flu vaccines and Tami-flu.

What does this mean?  Take control of your health and life!  Be proactive and boost your immune system!
