The 2015 year is coming to an end and we now have 2016 right around the corner. This is the time of year when we start working on our New Year’s resolutions. We encourage you to do things differently this year. Instead of focusing on the stereotypical resolutions, make them more tailored to you and your goals. Take some time this week to sit down and figure out what’s going to make your 2016 better, things that you want to improve on and things you want to change.

Don’t fall into the common trap of making unattainable or very large goals that you won’t follow through with. Start out 2016 by making small and more manageable goals. By doing this you’ll achieve a higher success rate, making you will feel more accomplished and allowing you to build on those successes throughout the year.

I recommend you start by purchasing a planner to help track your goals. I personally use the Passion Planner, it’s good for goal setting, creating inspiration and keeping to your weekly and monthly goals. Make a resolution you want accomplish for each month and work on nothing but that one until the next month when you have a new resolution. Create the game plan for each month and figure out ways in which you can keep with the goal you have set for the month. This will allow you to accomplish them a lot easier.
I can personally say that I’ve done the stereotypical NYE resolution and just forget about within the first few weeks of the year. In order to accomplish meaning, self-tailored, goals you need to start being serious about the changes you want to make. I have used this process for years now and can say that it makes you feel much more successful in your goal setting.
We wish you good luck with your goals and know 2016 will be an amazing one for you :)
