This year, more than any other, I’ve seen younger and younger, particularly women, suffering with Bell’s Palsy. This is a common medical diagnosis, where symptoms include a drooping of the face muscles. Chiropractic adjustments, usually to the upper cervical (neck) spine helps resolve these symptoms in most cases. The sooner someone starts care when they notice the symptoms, the quicker it clears up. If they have had it a year or more, it can still be helped, it will just take longer.
The adjustment, like any adjustment restores proper nerve supply to the irritated nerve, thus restoring proper function. Many times, you may see the lower eyelid sagging, along with the corner of the mouth. The eyelid usually clears up first then the mouth.
Send them our way so we can help. Most people have NO CLUE that chiropractic care helps with this condition.
