The warm weather is finally on its way! Who’s excited to let their athletic sides out and take part in more outdoor activities?
This article topic is actually going to be about athletes. To start, I want you to think of what being an athlete means to you. In my mind it’s someone that’s in great shape with honed skills for a particular sport(s). As you can imagine, these athletes don’t just wake up one day with mastered skills. It takes a lot of time and effort to make sure that they are the best of the best.
First, athletes exercise to make sure that they’re healthy and strong. Second, athletes make sure that they’re eating very well to properly fuel their bodies. Third, athletes practice for numerous hours per week to prepare both physically and mentally for their sport. Additionally, and one of the most important things, serious athletes also make sure their nervous systems are working at 100% by getting checked by their chiropractor.
Our championship winning Blackhawks were recently mentioned in a Chicago Tribune article (Read the article) as being checked by Dr. Stuart Yoss from IL. While we don’t specialize in pro athletes like Dr. Yoss, we do achieve the same results focusing on family wellness on Chicago’s north side.
Beyond the Blackhawks, there have been many other organizations and athletes that have attributed part of their success to regular chiropractic care. Some of these include Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, Usain Bold, Jerry Rice, Sidney Crosby, Kelly Slater, Emmitt Smith, Joe Montana, Dan O’ Brien, Michael Phelps, Wayne Gretzky, Arnold Schwarzenagger, Barry Bonds, Wade Boggs, Evander Holyfield and Charles Barkley to just name a few.
It’s not just a coincidence that all these athletes have been very successful! They are getting adjusted on a regular basis because it gives them the extra edge in their career. So be like a top athlete and make sure that you are getting your nervous system checked by your local Chiropractor!!
